《Harry Potter》延伸电影系列《怪兽与牠们的产地 Fantastic Beasts》正式公布了其上映日与第三部电影完整片名：《Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore》，与系列前作一样，这部电影由 J.K Rowling 担任编剧并由 David Yates 执导。由于先前涉嫌家暴指控，Johnny Depp 已遭 Warner Bros. 从系列中辞退，而他在电影中的角色 Gellert Grindelwald 将由知名演员 Mads Mikkelsen 取代。
